Today we’re celebrating the 12 days until Christmas suggesting 12 great Christmas movies, from well-known classics to more recent films, you should definitely check out with your family and friends during the Holidays!

 

 

 

Great Christmas movie #12: Christmas with the Kranks (2004)

Mr. and Mrs. Krank have decided to avoid Christmas and go on a Holiday instead, but the unexpected visit of their daughter and the intervention of their Christmas-loving neighbors will get in their way.

 

Great Christmas movie #11: Elf (2003)

This heart-warming movie stars Will Ferrell as an oversized elf who discovers the truth about his origins and sets on a hilarious mission of reuniting with his real father.

 

 

Great Christmas movie #10:  Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas (1997)

This sequel to Disney’s Beauty and the Beast shows you Belle’s first Christmas at the Beast’s castle, and gives you some backstory about the cursed characters and their relationship with each other.

 

 

Great Christmas movie #9: Scrooged (1988)

Back when Bill Murray was a very popular comedic star, this version of A Christmas Carol appeared. It’s a fun and eccentric film, with just the right amount of humor and uniqueness to keep adults and youngsters entertained.

 

 

Great Christmas movie #8: Arthur Christmas (2011)

A very recent and unfortunately unknown film, this flick tells the story of Santa and his family, and a young man called Arthur who was a very important mission to complete!

 

 

Great Christmas movie #7: The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)

This version of the renowned Charles Dickens’ novel stars all of our favorite Muppets and Michael Caine as Scrooge. Needless to say it’s absolutely wonderful!

 

 

Great Christmas movie #6: The Polar Express (2004)

This adaptation of a children’s book tells the story of a young boy whose faith in Christmas and Santa Clause is diminishing, until a mysterious Polar Express takes him to the North Pole in a surprising adventure.

 

 

Great Christmas movie #5: How the Grinch stole Christmas (2000)

This remake of the classic cartoon based on the book by Dr. Seuss stars Jim Carrey as the Christmas-hating Grinch, and a very young Taylor Momsen as Cindy Lou. It’s a funny and quirky flick you can’t miss.

 

 

Great Christmas movie #4: The Santa Clause (1994)

Starring Tim Allen, this hilarious film tells the story of a man who must become Santa Clause after an unfortunate accident makes the previous Santa disappear. A must-watch for the Holidays!

 

 

Great Christmas movie #3: A Christmas Carol (2009)

Jim Carrey plays another Christmas-hating character, this time, the old man Scrooge! This amazing animated version of Dickens’ tale is breathtaking and worth watching!

 

 

Great Christmas movie #2: It’s a wonderful life (1946)

This beautiful film tells the story about a man who learns during Christmas Eve how miserable the world would be without him. It’s a Christmas classic you’ll love!

 

 

Great Christmas movie #1: Miracle on 34th Street (1947)

Starring a very young Natalie Wood, this movie tells the story of little Susan, who has been trained by her mother to not believe in Santa, until a man who claims to be him appears, and soon magic and fantasy will ensue. One of the most beautiful Christmas films of all times!
